Journalist/Programmers Matt Waite and Chase Davis launched HotType Consulting to provide development services to media clients.

Waite (who created the Pulitzer Prize-winning PolitiFact for the St. Petersburg Times) and Davis (an investigative reporter for California Watch) create news applications for clients like MSNBC.com and The Texas Tribune. We thought their work should reflex their synthesis of old an new media. An energized color scheme combines with a classical type logo to balance those distinct threads.
